Our venue is in the heart of Bracknell town center on a quiet, pedestrianised street, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere. EOB have the entire floor dedicated solely to our students, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
The space includes exciting features such as a VR hut with headsets, a Pong table, a large screen to gather to game with more than one person and a driving rig, offering fun, interactive experiences. These areas also encourage our students to socialise together, take turns, and enjoy themselves.
The venue is easily accessible via public transport, and many students take this opportunity to build independence as they transition into adulthood. It’s particularly rewarding that most students have previously been unable to access a high street or shops without family support, so our location gives them the chance to independently explore shops, restaurants, and fast food outlets. Students often socialise and enjoy lunch together, further enhancing their confidence and independence.
The atmosphere at our venue is one of calm, respect, and inclusivity. We provide an environment where every student feels valued, understood, and comfortable. Our space is relaxed, with friendly staff and a community that fosters positive connections. At EOB provide a space where our students feel safe and supported, therefore enabling them to learn and achieve to their full potential. We’re committed to providing a place where our students can thrive, knowing they are in an environment where their well-being is the priority and their needs are respected.
Coming to EOB Brackenll provides students with a space where they feel accepted, respected, valued, and heard. They can learn in an environment tailored to their needs, gaining both qualifications and self-confidence. Our approach encourages students to work at their own pace, fostering a sense of achievement and personal growth. The venue also offers the opportunity to socialise with like-minded peers in a supportive, friendly atmosphere, helping them build relationships and feel a sense of belonging. It’s a place where every student is empowered to thrive, not only academically but socially and emotionally as well.
The tools I used at EOB were advanced – way more professional than I thought it would be – which has been great to get into the world of games design.
