Welcome to Enemy of Boredom Academy an Alternative Provision Online UK Wide.
Our online alternative provision courses are built around the individual needs of each student, offering a flexible, structured, and supportive environment where learners can thrive. Many Neurodivergent students find online learning especially beneficial.
The ability to learn from a familiar, low-stimulation setting can reduce anxiety and sensory overwhelm. Customisable communication options and consistent routines provide a sense of predictability and control—key elements for supporting focus, emotional regulation, and confidence.
Each session begins with a check-in, allowing tutors to connect and see how students are feeling. The day ends with time set aside for social connection and relaxation through games, quizzes, or low-pressure group conversations—supporting not just academic growth.
Students log in at the same time each day, guided by the same dedicated tutor throughout their course. This consistency fosters trust and allows tutors to build strong, supportive relationships with each learner. Scheduled breaks are taken at the same time daily, helping to establish a dependable rhythm.
Our online classrooms are welcoming and adaptable. Students are free to take regulation breaks when needed and can access a one-on-one support room at any time. Communication is flexible—students can choose to use a microphone or chat, depending on their comfort level. Cameras are only required during registration, not during lessons.
Supporting greater independence through practical life skills, including managing money, navigating relationships, planning meals, and understanding emotions.

” I stumbled across EOB, whilst searching for a good games design course for my twins who have special needs. Well…..I am so happy that I did stumble across them as WOW, its been a God send. Mainstream higher education were just not able to do what EOB are doing for my twins. The staff are brilliant, the course is brilliant, the support they receive is also brilliant. EOB is fantastic on all levels but especially for children/young adults who have a love for games design but struggle in mainstream settings due to SEN. Thank you so much to everyone for all that they have done/do for us.
(Up to 24 UCAS points)
The tools I used at EOB were advanced – way more professional than I thought it would be – which has been great to get into the world of games design.
