Sealed away in the Paintworks, on a quiet street, an entire studio dedicated solely to our students.
Our Bristol venue feels like a smart tech startup or a games design studio led by experienced pros. We help students re-engage in education as they turn their own ideas into real video games, learning valuable skills and achieving commercially desirable qualifications along the way.
Bristol is a diverse and vibrant city that’s home to some of the UK’s leading creators and entrepreneurs. We want to inspire and equip another generation through our centre of excellence in video games design for neurodivergent young people.
We offer Level 1, 2 or 3 certificates and flexible placements to meet students where they’re at. It’s an opportunity for students to re-build their confidence, re-engage with education and pave the way to exciting employment opportunities.
At EOB Academy Bristol, students explore modules including concept art, character modelling, user experience, 3D graphics and more in an environment that’s specifically designed for students with SEND or those struggling to attend mainstream schools (EBSA).
An approach that’s specifically designed to build confidence through success and well-being.
Supporting greater independence through practical life skills, including managing money, navigating relationships, planning meals, and understanding emotions.
For schools & MATs
When students see an idea of their own come to life it disrupts the downward spiral of perceived failure, low self-esteem and disengagement from education – and they start to get excited about their own potential. Later, we can help your students navigate the transition into post- 16 opportunities through our network of industry partners.
For parents & carers
My EOB experience has been overwhelmingly positive and accommodating. My complex mental and physical needs have been met and every step has been taken to make sure I am comfortable. Everyone is very understanding of not just my needs, but the needs of everyone else in the class as well. The teachers are friendly and approachable, I know I can go to them for help both with lessons as well as personal problems.
(Up to 24 UCAS points)
The tools I used at EOB were advanced – way more professional than I thought it would be – which has been great to get into the world of games design.
